Click on the link below for my 2010 BEER Cruise report. In spite of the rain and storms, it was a great trip. We had several cruisers who were on salt water for the first time. If there are some novices at OSYC that would like to go next year, we could have a seminar for first time BEER Cruisers. Its a good first cruise because if you have problems there is someone to help. Anchors dragging is a good example. There is a bunch of folks who do not hesitate to lend a hand. On one cruise, someone blew out a sail. Another boat had a spare and loaned it too him. Another time a rudder broke off and someone brought out an epoxy repair kit and it was ready to go the next morning. This is just a few examples. The cruise is usually scheduled around the first weekend in June.
