No Excuses. Our fall racing series will start this weekend, Sept 13 and 14. We will have a very informal meeting to discuss simplified rules and tactics starting at 11:00 AM. If that is not enough we are going the extra mile to set up a start line and practice starting at 12 noon. The race will start at 1:00 PM. We will probably have 2-3-4 races depending on the wind or the lack there of. I have it from a very reliable source that the racing leaders of the year, Ken and Jennifer are having boat troubles. They are having rudder issues and their sails are not up to par. Could this mean that we will finally have someone else winning a race? After saying all that, I am sure they will find a way to be very competitive and win. I can tell you from a personal point of view that the back of the pack is not all that bad. So come on out and challenge the leaders or sail in the back of the pack with me, either way you will have fun and improved your sailing skills. Be there or be square. Gop
