Come celebrate the Spring Series finale with two days of racing and a club BBQ on Saturday night at 6pm.

First let me thank all that have contributed their time and efforts towards this Spring race series. Jimmy for heading up race committee, volunteers who maned the committee boat and of course captains and crew as well. It has been wonderful to participate in such.

Now there are only two days of spring racing left which is this coming Saturday and Sunday. Pray good wind for those days. Then we must wait pretty darn close to four months for Fall series to come around.

Therefore, I believe this Saturday evening would be a good time to celebrate the Spring series with a BBQ bang! Please join all in a club provided event of good eats. The menu will be pulled pork, Cole slaw, baked beans, corn, chips, soft drinks and a good time. As always anyone that brings an appetizer or dessert receives special favor in the eyes of all participants. We will be purchasing the BBQ from a local BBQ joint requiring you to notify the bean counter, yours truly, if you want to taste the meat.
